Abstract :
Validation of analysis techniques of in-vivo acquired images is very difficult due to the lack of a gold standard. In this paper, a Simulated Brain Database (SBD) is used as the ground truth, and some measures for the evaluation are defined. The algorithms of texture based classification and adaptive segmentation are evaluated. Moreover, some suggestions are given for the improvement of the algorithms. The evaluation program is implemented with Delphi programming language
