Abstract
Summary form only given. Organic materials are attracting increasing interest as low cost alternatives to inorganic semiconductors for active optoelectronics applications. The current work aims to identify means to increase the confining abilities of a number of possible designs for an optically pumped organic semiconductor lasers (OSL) using an organic semiconductor waveguide multilayer with an imprinted feedback grating imposed on the surface of the rib.
