  • Abstract
    We have engaged in research and technological development concerning integration of telecommunications and broadcasting, partially of the next generation Internet technology development over high-speed networks. As one of those projects, we developed the technology of transmitting the digital video and audio non-compression D1 format, the quality of which is equivalent to that of the professional use, recognized as a digital video transmission technology over IP. We report on the video-on-demand system over high-speed networks we designed using this technology
