Abstract :
Summary form only given. In summary, we demonstrated high-speed hybrid-receiver module using a photonic lightwave circuit (PLC) platform and monolithically integrated photoreceiver array. This is the first demonstration of a silica based PLC platform that can operate at 10 Gbit/s. This technology will be applicable to high-speed optoelectronic components that will offer both optical and electronic signal processing.
