Abstract :
Summary form only given. Presents the design of the wavelength-selective tap, which consists of an all-fiber Mach-Zehnder interferometer with identical chirped Bragg gratings in the interferometer arms. The design is similar to a narrowband wavelength-selective multiplexing/demultiplexing device reported previously. The principal difference is the gratings in this device have a chirped period rather than a uniform period.
