Summary form only given. We have developed fully engineered polarization-maintaining and dispersion-shifted Er-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFAs) using polarization-maintaining and absorption-reducing (PANDA) and dispersion shifted fiber structure erbium-doped fiber (PMDS-EDF).
