Abstract :
Summary form only given. This paper demonstrates 4×4 port cross connection and the transport of eight optical paths over 400 km of dispersion-shifted fiber with unequally spaced channel allocation. We show that the optical path cross-connect system can be adopted to unequally spaced channel allocation without any architectural modification.
