Abstract :
A novel voltage regulator module for the next generation of microprocessors is proposed in this paper. The proposed topology can improve the load step-down transients as well as step-up without increasing output filter capacitors. Furthermore, the energy stored in the inductor can be transferred back to the source. Simulation and experiment results verify the theoretical analysis
