Abstract :
A novel algorithm for enhancing digital PWM resolution is put forward, by which a limit ring relating to quantization is suppressed dramatically. The quantization error is corrected within the PWM module. It isn´t allowed to propagate into the output terminal directly. A DSP controlled converter can operate at 100 kHz without precision degradation
