Abstract :
This paper presents an efficient algorithm for computing the criterion of detecting the number of coherent signals based on the minimum description length (MDL) principle. Compared with the direct application of the alternating minimization technique to the problem, the proposed algorithm reduces the order of the amount of multiplications
