Abstract
The influence of the dielectric circular cylindrical radome on the antenna parameters such as directivity, gain, total radiated and absorbed power and pointing error are studied for both E- and H-polarizations. The beam field is simulated by the complex source point (CSP) beams radiating from inside of a homogeneous layered dielectric cylinder taken as a model of the radome. Such physical effects as directivity degradation or improvement due to a dielectric shell and a non-zero beam pointing error have been studied in an accurate manner
