Abstract :
A coupled mode approach has been applied to investigate the axially magnetized ferrite coupled (FCL) microstrip junction. The scattering properties of the junction are obtained and applications of FCL in microstrip distributed circulators are discussed. The performance of a microstrip FCL circulator is investigated by numerical experiment and good agreement with previously published results is obtained
