Abstract :
This paper evaluates by simulations the performance of the DQRUMA MAC protocol using as backlog algorithm the pseudo-bayesian algorithm in a W-ATM system. The protocol has been simulated in conjunction with a type-II Hybrid-ARQ protocol based on punctured R-S codes. The analysis was carried out for a OFDM scheme with QPSK modulation on each carrier. The Hidden Markov Model (HMM) is used for modeling the physical layer of the system
