Abstract :
Phase-Locked Loops are important engineering systems whose dynamics are incompletely understood. In this paper we investigate the dynamics of a first-order DPLL with frequency modulated input signal. Our system exhibits a range of behaviour, including quasiperiodic motion and strange nonchaotic attractors. The properties of these states and the transitions between them are considered
