Abstract :
Two types of cellular-array power-sum circuits over a fixed-size finite field GF(2´´´) are first presented. According to the two fixed field power-sum circuits, VLSI architectures of cellular-array generalized power-sum circuits in the finite field GF(2´´´) are presented. The presented cellular-array circuits have the advantages of less circuit complexity, shorter latency, and lower power consumption. Thus they are suitable for pipeline architecture and can be applied in wireless communications
