Abstract
This paper presents a combined LNA and mixer suitable for low-IF architecture. This combination gives an improved linearity without consuming high bias-current. Simulations show an improvement in IIP3 by a factor of 3-7.4 dB, depending on the frequency, at a power consumption and a noise figure equivalent to that of the traditional configuration. The circuit presented here is a wideband circuit, which might be suitable for area-efficient multi-band receivers
