Abstract :
This work is based on a multiresolution (MR) approach for the Integral Equation (IE)-Method of Moment (MoM) analysis of printed structures. Two different types of functions are used, for the solenoidal (TE) and the quasi-irrotational (quasi-TM) part of the current. Although in typical printed antennas the qTM current is dominant, the TE basis functions turn out to strongly affect the characteristic of the MoM impedance matrix. This consideration is validated by the presented numerical results, in which two types of MR TE basis functions are compared
