Abstract :
Broadband fiber optic amplifiers are key elements of DWDM systems and enablers for optical networks. New amplifier technologies for extending gain-bandwidth and equalizing the power deviation among WDM signals are discussed toward the next generation of ultra.-high-capacity DWDM systems.
