  • Abstract
    We describe a simple method for generating wavelength-tunable pulses by optically-modulating the gain of an SOA in a ring-laser with frequency multiplied pulse-train. Wavelength-tunable pulses at repetition rates of 20, 30 or 40 GHz were generated.
