Abstract
New type of reverse dispersion fiber (RDF-60) has been developed successfully. Totally flat line in a wide band could be obtained by connecting RDF-60 with SMF. RDF-60 had large dispersion as -60 ps/nm/km and A/sub eff/ as large as conventional RDF, so low non-linearity could be realized.
