Abstract
We propose the duobinary carrier-suppressed return-to-zero format; its bandwidth is less than 100 GHz at 43 Gbit/s. 100 GHz-spaced DWDM unrepeatered transmission is demonstrated over 163 km at +10 dBm/channel with the crosstalk penalty less than 1 dB.
