Abstract
We propose a novel coherent detection technique without phase locked loops (PLL). In this technique, phase-to-amplitude conversion based on injection-locking is performed. We demonstrate the error-free detection for OC-192 (9.95328Gb/s) phase-modulated data without serious laser phase noise problems.
