Author_Institution :

Abstract :
Scalable all-optical networks need 3R regeneration. Clock recovery is a key function. Bit-rate flexibility and ultrafast locking are important in future asynchronous Internet protocol (IP) networks. The performance of regenerators is demonstrated in loop experiments.
