Abstract :
An automated measurement system for performing estimation of surface resistivity by using the four-point method is presented. In particular it is adopted for monitoring humidity distribution on wetted surfaces. A suitable probe, 8 point by 8 point fully addressable, has been realized together with signal conditioning circuits and data processing numerical procedure. An easy-to-use user interface has been also realized using LabView. The measurement system has been adopted in the characterization of the soaking properties of materials. With this aim, real time monitoring of the phenomenon has been successfully addressed. Experimental results are reported to show the suitability of the proposed approach
