Abstract :
Distorted power measurement under nonsinusoidal and noisy conditions is considered. A new window function method which is efficiently combines the advantage of an adaptive window, totally eliminating leakage errors, with that of a conventional window, a good attenuation performance for noise signals, is proposed to reduce the measurement errors of distorted power under nonsinusoidal and noisy conditions. The effectiveness of the new method has been verified by simulation results
