Abstract
Fabry-Perot semiconductor saturable absorber has been implemented in a colliding pulse configuration for stabilizing a harmonically mode-locked fiber laser. An environmentally stable colliding-pulse mode-locked (CPM) design is shown to enhance supermode suppression.
