Abstract :
We propose and demonstrate a multi-purpose fiber-optic access network (MFAN). This network utilizes the same fiber infrastructure for a variety of services including baseband, CATV, PCS, WLL, and LMCS. The experimental results show that the proposed network could support the independent operation of these services.
