Abstract :
High efficiency (1.7/spl times/10/sup -2/W/sup -1/) waveform measurement is experimentally demonstrated using quasi-phasematched mixing in a LiNbO/sub 3/ waveguide. A 160 Gbit/s optical waveform is observed with temporal resolution of 3.6 ps.
