Abstract :
The MOESP subspace-based identification method is applied to the MIT Space Engineering Research Center´s (SERC) interferometer testbed, a very lightly damped MIMO structure. A multivariable state space model is obtained based on input-output measurement data. The identified model is then compared to averaged frequency domain measurement data and to the results of a frequency domain identification technique. The identified MOESP model is used to design a robust controller for vibration control
