Abstract :
MoO3-WO3 thin films fabricated by the sol-gel technique showed exceptional gas sensing properties to NO2 and ethanol with a response of 2.3 to 1 ppm of NO2 and 50 to 500 ppm of ethanol. The films showed an unmeasurable response to CO concentrations below 30 ppm, making the films practically useful for applications such as selective NO2 environmental monitoring and for alcohol breath testing by law enforcement bodies
