  • Abstract
Power converter parallel operation is used for large capacity and fault tolerant power supply systems. The converter parallel operation requires completely automatic load current sharing, a simple feedback controller, high reliability and easy maintenance. In this paper, to share load current equally with two identical converters, load current error feedback is carried out at the two converters respectively, which have a single current transformer (CT). It is called the zero current transformer (ZCT) method. This paper presents fault detection when one converter is broken. To supply power to the load stably, the faulted converter is detected and isolated. The authors suggest a solution by simulation and experiment
