  • Abstract
Long-period grating have numerous applications in optical communications including filtering functions, such as rejection, notch, and gain flattening. In many instances, the transmission response of the long-period grating needs to be tuned, especially for use in dynamic environments. We proposed a means for tuning the transmission response based on localized resistive heating and thermal effects
