Abstract :
This paper presents a computer aided tool called QUIPS-II (Queen´s University IP Simulator v2.0), that can be used for the performance evaluation of Diffserv networks. Both the expedited forwarding (EF) and the assured forwarding (AF) per-hop behavior are implemented in the simulator. By setting up a network model with variable parameters, simulation can be carried out to observe the Diffserv behavior. Some examples of using Quuip-II are also provided
