Abstract :
Quaternary m-sequences over F4 are developed for use in QPSK. The sequences have the two-level autocorrelation property, and preferred pairs of these sequences have the same three-level crosscorrelation values as binary m-sequences. Modified preferred pairs of these sequences create an optimal class of modified quaternary Gold sequences over F4
