Abstract :
This paper describes an approach for the optimal configuration of lightpaths in transparent and static WDM networks for IP traffic. The approach involves finding the virtual topology for IP demands and a routing and wavelength assignments (RWA) on the WDM layer. The problem is split into several subproblems and solved by heuristic algorithms
