Abstract
Discusses the phases ten JEF staff, students, and associates have passed through in the development of approximately twenty published neural network papers. The phases are neural network concepts, neural network models and the application of the models to classical computer science problems, machine learning and pattern recognition. The article concludes with a list of the major conferences that have hosted precollege students
