Abstract :
We present a chaotic spiking oscillator (CSO) with a periodic pulse-train input. The system can exhibit various synchronous phenomena. Since the CSO is piecewise linear, the dynamics is analyzed using piecewise exact solutions. Using a return map of firing timing, we clarify the basic phenomena in this system
