  • Abstract
    The typical out-of-plane vibration amplitude distributions associated with the various piezoelectrically excitable resonance frequencies of PZT/glass composite resonators have been measured systematically by use of a specially developed scanning LDV vibration amplitude measurement system. The corresponding vibration modes have been identified and characterized, the influence of the lateral boundary conditions is demonstrated. The presented results are of importance for state of the art design of acoustic cell filters recently launched at the biotechnology market
