Power quality initiatives in Singapore

The increasing presence of high-tech industries in Singapore has brought about new challenges on the deliverables of supply, particularly power quality in terms of voltage dip. The high-tech industries, particularly the wafer fabrication, semiconductor, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries require a high quality of supply because controls used in their equipment processes are highly sensitive to voltage dips.
