Abstract :
Today there are many educational web sites and many toys for children. On the one hand, the content of web site learning tools can be changed easily, but children need much determination to study using the web by themselves. On the other hand, educational toys are attractive to children, but the toy content can\´t be changed easily. In this research project, we develop the "Web-Toy System" that can connect to PCs and the web. Our Web-Toy System enables users to study using new teaching material on the web while playing. When we consider the user environment, we need to make the system which moves in any machine environments. In this system, an agent controls the toy, poses a question, and supports the user. In order to control the toy, the agent monitors the user\´s action from the state of the toy and sends commands through the PC to the toy. This system uses data on the web to pose questions and support users. This data predefines questions and how to support the user. The agent sends the teaching material that is most suitable for the user environment. This system differs from traditionally separate educational web sites and toys in that it combines the advantages of both
