Abstract :
A coefficient-wise stability margin for fuzzy linear systems is derived. It is based on the functional interval representation of fuzzy numbers and the well-known Argoun stability test for interval systems (M.B. Argoun, 1987). Consideration of independent confidence levels for every coefficient allows a clear understanding of how each coefficient affects the stability, and thus an analysis can be carried out of how precise one needs to be on some coefficients in order to allow more uncertainty on others
