Abstract :
The feasibility study on developing a Web site that automatically generates asset allocation portfolios is described. Natural linguistic expressions are used on the questionnaire to eliminate the burden of selecting abrupt answers from novice investors. A soft computing method, evidential logic reasoning in FRIL (Fuzzy Relational Inference Language), is used to handle such linguistic expressions. The system architecture becomes very simple by using CGI, HTML, and FRIL on a PC running LINUX OS
