  • Abstract
The cdma2000 system supports high speed data services as well as voice services using supplemental channel. Many people have studied the high speed packet wireless access based on channel load and interference in a CDMA cellular system. A mobile station (MS) can move rapidly or slowly during high data-rate service. If an MS moves to cell boundary during high speed data service, the interference generated by the MS increases and this interference decreases the system performance. We address the effect of a high speed data user mobility and propose a solution for resource allocation for reverse high speed data service in a cdma2000 system
