Abstract
The behaviour of the noncoherent delay lock loop (DLL) under unresolvable Rayleigh fading paths is presented and its effect on the BER of a conventional single path demodulator BER is shown. A novel selective combiner demodulator which take advantage of the S-curve distortion is introduced. Computer simulations of optimal and sub-optimal selective combiners were carried out and their improvement over the conventional demodulator are shown
