Abstract :
In this paper, a VSB (vestigial sideband) wideband CDMA system for an overlay system is proposed. The proposed method, which supports gradual evolution from a narrowband CDMA system to a wide-band CDMA system, is evaluated using analysis and simulation. It is likewise described in VHDL and verified and synthesized using Synopsys. Savings on the gate count achieved by introducing CSD-CSCF and common energy calculator is about 30.6%
