Abstract
In this paper, the problem of signal recovery in frequency selective channels of CDMA systems is considered. Two blind algorithms based on second-order statistics (SOS) are developed to recover the signal for two scenarios in CDMA systems. Since the proposed algorithms only require the knowledge of the spreading code(s), systems adopting this algorithm may achieve higher efficiency than those adopting non-blind algorithms where a training sequence is needed. Moreover the proposed algorithms do not utilize the information of signal subspace and noise subspace, therefore are more robust to the errors of channel order estimation than conventional SOS algorithms. Simulation results are presented to show the performances of these algorithms and the improvement over an existing SOS algorithm
