Abstract :
This paper provides a Diff-Serve enabled framework to deliver multicast over mobile IP. It discusses the present limitations associated with providing multicasting over mobile-IP (tunnel convergence problem) as well as the problem associated with providing Diff-Serve over IP-multicasting (neglected reservation subtree (NRS)). In our model, we address the inter-domain NRS and tunnel convergence problems simultaneously and have provided a unified solution for them. We believe that our scheme is transparent to higher layers and is robust, scalable and independent of underlying multicasting routing protocols
