Abstract :
The nonlinear interaction of electromagnetic waves in layered periodic structures is studied in the paper. We consider the two-dimensional layered structure that is periodic in one dimension and is derived by a recurring semiconductor layer and of a dielectric layer In consequence of homogeneity of the medium, the system of Maxwell´s equations will be split into two independent polarizations
