  • Abstract
The results of experimental investigation of signal spectral characteristics for millimeter band of radiowaves (frequency band from 10 to 140 GHz) are presented for situations when signals are scattered by the sea surface at grazing angles. The specific feature of the presented material is the special attention to two states of nonstationary scattering: a) signal intensity spikes caused by sea wave breaking and b) pauses when this effect is absent. From the point of view of data statistical processing this phenomena is connected with the necessity of process analysis for short time intervals during which processes can be considered as stationary
