Low power and high performance DSPs for mobile wireless communications systems
Abstract :
The article discusses 2G and 3G mobile wireless systems and algorithms for mobile wireless baseband processing. Examples of low power DSPs for wireless handsets are covered including TIC54, Lucent 1600 and Lucent 16000. High performance DSPs for wireless infrastructure are also covered including TIC6x, Lucent Starcore and Lucent StarPro. The article concludes with an analysis of future trends in high performance & low power DSPs
